About Page Change Detector

What it does

You add a public URL, and you choose whether to watch the whole page or one part of it, picked with a CSS selector. Page Change Detector fetches the page on your plan's interval, reads the text in it, and compares that text with the last version it saw. When the text changes, an email goes out with a plain English summary of the change and the changed lines.

Every change is kept in a readable history, with a side by side view of the text before and after. The comparison is on text, never on screenshots.

The home page has a free preview box. Paste a URL to see exactly the text that would be watched, which is also how you try a selector before you commit to it. The preview needs no signup.

What it does not do

Page Change Detector does not log in to anything, so login protected pages, stored cookies and page actions such as clicking a button are out of scope. There are no text messages, no Slack messages, no screenshot comparison, no price drop parsing and no AI written summaries. It reads public pages and reports text changes.

Who makes it
